To achieve this, Coralia designed a specific methodology that allowed for highly accurate estimation of the indirect emissions associated with the raw materials used in production. Unlike traditional approaches that rely on international databases with average values, the team worked extensively with representative information for each input, taking into account both production methods and the actual country of origin. This approach significantly reduced uncertainty and strengthened the technical quality of the analysis.

Based on this work, Coralia continues to expand its own database of carbon footprints for cosmetic sector raw materials.
