The corporate GHG emissions inventory for 2024 was carried out for the assets of Phoenix Global Resources (PGR), along with a comprehensive adjustment to the previous inventories for 2022 and 2023. All inventories were developed in accordance with the ISO 14064-1:2018 standard. Although formal certification was not obtained on this occasion, the documents were prepared with a detailed and rigorous approach, ensuring their readiness for future auditing and certification.

Overview

The inventory prepared for PGR covered its unconventional upstream crude oil and natural gas production activities in assets located in Neuquén, as well as conventional upstream crude oil and natural gas production in Mendoza. To ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness, technical visits were conducted at the production plants in the strategic 'Vaca Muerta' area, enabling a detailed and accelerated assessment of emission sources and activities.

During the process, emissions corresponding to categories 1, 2, and 3 were identified and quantified according to the ISO 14064-1:2018 standard. In addition, the service included the design and development of specific GHG calculators, tailored to the particular characteristics of each asset, ensuring precise and reliable measurement. As part of the knowledge transfer commitment, training was provided to PGR personnel, focusing on the correct integration and use of these calculators in internal reporting and environmental management processes.

This comprehensive approach strengthened the organization’s technical capacity to maintain updated and consistent emissions records.
