Coralia’s work was carried out with a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach. On the technical and regulatory side, participation conditions in the Renewable Energy Term Market (MATER) were analyzed, along with applicable regulatory requirements and emerging opportunities within the current framework. In parallel, a detailed legal analysis was conducted, including contractual strategies and the identification of incentives such as the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI) and specific provincial benefits in Jujuy.

From an environmental perspective, the necessary conditions for preparing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) were thoroughly reviewed, evaluating both technical and administrative requirements. The compatibility of the site with local and national regulations was also carefully assessed, ensuring the project’s environmental feasibility. Commercial feasibility included a comprehensive study of potential energy buyers through long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), considering business profiles, payment capacity, and sustainability. Additionally, Coralia acted as a trusted liaison between the provincial government, the Korean consortium, and national authorities, facilitating strategic dialogue. Through this collaborative work, El Pongo I and II are positioned as large-scale solar projects with significant transformative impact on Argentina’s energy future.
