Overview

Within the framework of Phase IV of the WIPO GREEN Acceleration Project, Coralia Environmental was selected to lead the implementation of this initiative in Argentina. WIPO GREEN, promoted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a United Nations agency, aims to facilitate the innovation and dissemination of sustainable technologies globally. The project focuses on identifying producers of pears, apples, grapes, and berries who face production challenges related to sustainability, in order to identify concrete opportunities to improve their processes through innovative technologies.

As facilitators, our role is to effectively connect the “need owners” —producers or entities with specific needs— with the “solution providers” —technological solution providers— ensuring that these connections accurately and efficiently address the identified challenges.

This collaborative process relies on WIPO GREEN’s global, open-access platform, which compiles an extensive and continually updated database of inventions, technologies, technical knowledge, and services, and fosters the creation of strategic partnerships for sustainable innovation worldwide.

The project’s scope not only benefits producers, who gain access to cutting-edge, science-based solutions tailored to their requirements, but also providers, who position themselves as sustainability leaders, receive specialized intellectual property guidance through the INPI, and participate at no cost in a UN-backed initiative. Coralia Environmental’s proactive involvement in this partnership reinforces its commitment to promoting a more efficient, resilient, and innovative agricultural sector aligned with global climate objectives, contributing to the sustainable development of Argentina’s agricultural industry.
